ECONOMY NEWS

  • Forbes released its annual list of 2025 billionaires on April 2nd, showing that 12 Washington residents are among the richest people in the world. The list features leaders from companies like Amazon, Microsoft and Starbucks + video game founders.  FOX13

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Marysville residents can join the Earth Day Cleanup at Gissberg Twin Lakes Park on Tuesday, April 22 from 2 to 6 p.m. to help clean the park using provided supplies—volunteers must be 15 or older or joined by an adult. The park, which was transferred from Snohomish County in January, will host a Kids’ Fishing Derby on Saturday, May 17 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.  City of Marysville

HEALTH NEWS

  • Snohomish County health officials confirmed a measles case in a child likely exposed during travel abroad and are tracking possible exposures at places like Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, a Monroe clinic, a Mill Creek care center, and a Seattle hospital. People who visited these sites and are not immune should check their vaccination status and contact a healthcare provider if they develop symptoms between today and April 21.  FOX13
