ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Marysville residents can join the Earth Day Cleanup at Gissberg Twin Lakes Park on Tuesday, April 22 from 2 to 6 p.m. to help clean the park using provided supplies—volunteers must be 15 or older or joined by an adult. The park, which was transferred from Snohomish County in January, will host a Kids’ Fishing Derby on Saturday, May 17 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. City of Marysville
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Snohomish County health officials confirmed a measles case in a child likely exposed during travel abroad and are tracking possible exposures at places like Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, a Monroe clinic, a Mill Creek care center, and a Seattle hospital. People who visited these sites and are not immune should check their vaccination status and contact a healthcare provider if they develop symptoms between today and April 21. FOX13
