GOVERNMENT NEWS

➤ Marysville Police have been testing drones during a one-week pilot program that started on August 6th to improve 911 response times—officers use a real-time information center to view live video and data. The department will review the data and seek public comment before presenting a proposal to City Council. FOX13
➤ Construction will begin Tuesday, Aug. 12 on 67th Ave NE between Grove and 88th as Bayshore Construction replaces ADA ramps, repairs the street and overlays new pavement. During the first phase, the southbound lane will be closed along the west side of the road — one lane will remain open in each direction — and one access point will stay available while drivers face delays.
