Marysville Fire District’s Board of Directors voted to place a levy lid lift measure on the August primary ballot to raise the tax rate from $1.04 to $1.45 per $1,000 of assessed property value in order to fund staffing, equipment, and training for fire and emergency services—if approved, the measure will add about $18.47 per month to the average homeowner’s taxes.
